In spring, the migrating baleen whales (toothless whales) visit our waters on their way to higher latitudes, providing outstanding opportunities of close encounters with the undiscussed Giants of the Sea: the Blue whale, the Fin whale and the Sei whale.
Sperm whales are year-round residents, as well as many species of dolphins.
