The Adventure Package 2012 for scuba divers includes:
- 10-night accommodation in Bed & Breakfast
(double room with private bathroom, breakfast included)

3 Blue Shark & Mako Expeditions (5-6 hours per trip)

2 Dives at Princess Alice seamount
(45 nautical miles offshore, full day)

Sharks are facing many threats and are in serious trouble. In support of shark conservation, CW Azores donates 2% of proceeds from every shark trip to the Project AWARE Foundation.

BLUE SHARK AND MAKO DIVING IN PICO
THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS DISCOVERY OF THE DECADE

UNPARALLED SUCCESS RATES
Between mid-July and mid-October the success of our Shark Expeditions is near 100%.
All our successful trips attracted Blue sharks but, with new insight, we have now improved our luck with the Mako too.
In 2010, Makos were present in 30% of our trips but during 2011 we improved this encounter rate to 65% of our
Shark Expeditions.
UNPARALLED CONDITIONS FOR PHOTOGRAPHY
Between mid-July and mid-October the visibility ranges between 20 and 30 metres over the seamounts
where we dive with pelagic sharks.
On many occasions, though, visibility can be even better.
This factor, along with the excellent light, helps to create superb conditions for outstanding
photography and filmmaking.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

While success rates are very high for every activity included in the program and weather is at its best between
mid-July and mid-October,
you should be prepared to be flexible and let us organise the activities according to our
experience and, most importantly, safety requirements.
OUR GUARANTEES
Shark Diving
We guarantee that you will dive with sharks but we do
not guarantee the success or viability of every single trip.
Princess Alice seamount
We guarantee that you will see the huge, legendary Devil ray (Mobula tarapacana).
In case of adverse weather/sea conditions (remember that Princess is 45 nautical miles off Pico) the activity
could be cancelled and compensated with additional local dives.
Whale Watching & Dolphin snorkeling
We guarantee these activities and you will be entitled to 100% refund in case of adverse
weather/sea conditions or unsuccessful trips.
Coastal Diving
We guarantee the number of dives included in the program.
In case of adverse weather/sea conditions you
will be entitled to 100% refund.
Activities skipped for personal reasons of the customer
No refund will be given. You may want your dive insurance to cover this.
