We saw 5 species of cetaceans this afternoon and achieved our seasonal record so far!
This included: 

  1. Blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus)
  2. Short-finned pilot whale (Globicephala macrorhynchus)
  3. Sperm whale (Physeter macrocephalus)
  4. Common dolphin (Delphinus delphis)
  5. Striped dolphin (Stenella coeruleoalba)

 

Our best record so far was 7 species that were seen on 31st August last year.
However, if our sightings continue like today... stay tuned ;-)
